lunevo collects only what it needs to provide the service. This includes:
- Check-in data: The ratings you submit for energy, focus, and well-being across daily phases, along with the timestamps of those entries.
- Usage data: Which screens you visit, how often you open the app, and streak information — collected to improve the experience and generate accurate insights.
- Profile information: Any name or preferences you choose to provide within the app settings. This is optional.
- Device information: Basic device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic and compatibility purposes.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any information not directly related to your use of the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve lunevo:
- To calculate your daily flow scores and phase breakdowns.
- To generate your Trends charts across weekly and monthly views.
- To produce AI-generated Insights that surface patterns, correlations, and anomalies in your check-in history.
- To maintain your streak and historical record.
- To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the lunevo experience.
3. AI-Generated Insights
The Insights feature uses an AI model to analyze patterns within your personal check-in data. Your data may be sent to a third-party AI provider to generate these observations. When this occurs:
- Only the data necessary to generate a specific insight is transmitted.
- Data is not retained by the AI provider beyond the immediate processing request.
- Insights are generated on your behalf and are not used to train external AI models.
You can review the AI provider's data handling practices separately. We choose providers whose privacy commitments align with ours.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your check-in data is stored on your device and, if you have enabled cloud sync, in secure encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to systems that need it to operate the service.
No security system is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted third parties that help us operate the app (e.g., cloud storage, analytics, AI processing) under strict data processing agreements.
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of lunevo or its users.
- Aggregate, anonymized data: We may share non-identifiable, aggregated statistics about how people use the app to understand general usage patterns. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data at any time:
- Access: View all of your check-in history within the app.
- Export: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Delete: Delete individual check-ins or your entire account and all associated data from within the app settings.
- Opt out of AI Insights: You can disable the Insights feature in your profile settings. This prevents your data from being sent to our AI processing service.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate data may be retained indefinitely.
8. Children's Privacy
lunevo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you within the app. Continued use of lunevo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
